How distant is the hotel-residence from the Adriatic sea?
The Residence DamaBlu lies directly infront of the beach: Just cross the promenade-road and you´ll end up on our private beach.

How calm is the residence located and how are the surroundings?
The residence & bungalow resort lies in a living and touristic area outside of the towns of Marcelli (aprox. 400 m) and Numana (about 2 km) and is easily accessably by car, by foot or bike. Our surroundings are quite calm, because there is no disco nearby. One of our neighbours is even a farm. Just at 30 m you have a supermarket and a shop for Italian snacks, which are open even on sundays. Who is seeking a very calm holiday should choose may or september for their holidays at our residence and benefit from our discount prices!

Which type of animation and entertainment do we offer?
First of all we want to offer you lots of possibilities to arrange your holidays in an individual and relaxed way – without getting into “vacation-stress”. Thats why we have put up sports grounds, play grounds and other facilities on the ground of our residence. Please get more detailed information in the menus “sports & relax” and “DamaBlu map”. Many of the services are free for our guests!
By the way: We organize guided hiking and bike tours (with hired bikes) with qualified guides of Forestalp in the Conero Nature Park. At the beginning of every summer week you can participate in tastings with regional specialties and we present you our region in a slide show.

What`s the equipment of the apartments like?
Our apartments are modern and furnished with a kitchen or kitchen corner (with pots, plates, espresso-cooker, cutlery etc.). On demand and while stocks lasts, we offer the following equipment for small children: high chair, diaper changing pad, seats for children from 2-4 years of age, wc-seat and baby tub). At a little fee you can book a cot, bed linen, towels and colour tv. Our apartments are beeing restored continuousley and get new furnished frequently.

What are the arrival and departure dates?
Your holidays at the DamaBlu residence start on saturdays between 4pm and 7.30 pm and ends maximum at 9 am of the day of your departure.

And the beach?
Directly infront of our residence & holiday bungalows is situated our private beach, which we have equipped for a comfortable beach day with sunloungers and parasols. The mixed sandy-fine-pebbly beach is, due to pediatricians, and ideal foot massage, not only for small childrens feet.
At the beach of our residence you may have lunch or dinner at our restaurant Saraghino, or you enjoy an easy snack or salad at the beach bar.

What we recommend to gourmands?
On sundays or mondays we frequently organize tastings with regional specialties – a free service for our guests! During the week you might want to have an assado from the grill at one of our wine tastings – guided by sommelier Paolo at our bistro Ventinpoppa (we ask just a small contribution towards our expenses).
On Fridays, Fausto, the reknowned pasta-maker from Numana Alta, will perform tastings of handmade spinach-curd cheese-ravioli (ravioli ricotta e spinaci) and other wonderfull pasta directly on the beach of our residence. Please book, if you want to participate!
At our restaurant Saraghino, directly at the beach in front of our residence & holiday bungalows, you may enjoy delicious fish and seafood, grilled or in low fat oven-baked versions, with pasta or risotto.
Our hint: Don´t miss the “Guazzetto”, a luscious fish soup at the restaurant Cucale at Numanas fraction “Marcelli”. You´d better order for 2 or more persons, because the choice of different types of fish will be broader. As well situated at Marcelli is the restaurant “All'Alga marina”, where we highly recommend to try the the seafood-spaghetti “lo spaghetto ai frutti di mare”.
At Portonovo we can recommend our gourmand guests to have dinner at “Emilia” (close to the pier). As first course are exquisit their steamed mussels (Le Cozze alla Tarantina or Spaghetti alle Cozze), as second course we recommend their wonderfull oven-baked fish with baked potatoes: “Pesce con Patate al Forno”. But Portonovo offers even more gourmand sites, for example the clean-styled Sushi-Bar of Moreno Cedroni: Il Clandestino.
In the area of “le Cave” you can enjoy a very traditional Italian Marche cuisine at the restaurant “Conerello”. It´s situated at the country road between Sirolo and Ancona. We suggest the “Tagliatelle al Ragù” (pasta with meat sauce), “Coniglio in Porchetta” (hare in rolled roasted porc) and the mixed barbecue, called “grigliata mista”.
Simple but nicely furnished is the Café-Bar Belvedere. You can have smaller dishes and little Italian snacks there, like grilled saucages and vegetables (in Italian: salsicce e verdure alla griglia) or Pecorino-cheese, salad and a nice glass of Rosso Conero red wine. It lies at the country road which leads to the top of Mount Conero.
And last but not least: At Sirolo, on the beautifull “Piazzetta Centrale”, we love the Trattoria Sara and the Taverna Centrale.
